A commission for @railwaysparrow.bsky.social of Peter Sam crossing the road at Abergynolwyn on the @talyllyn.co.uk Talyllyn railway!

Decided to test out some new reshade settings.

Normally I add to my pictures in post but this is raw from trainz. Would love to hear any feedback.
Train spotting at a quite branch line station on the new quarry diesel's first day.

As Rusty was doing maintenance work it happened. With a couth & a splutter the little diesel stopped. Black smoke bellowed from Rusty's engine & nothing the driver did would fix it.
"The only comfort is you stopped by the block post, we can phone for help" he told Rusty.

Best thing I've seen about Super ED lol

When the Thin Controller heard about the Talyllyn Railway celebrating its link to Sodor by painting a coach in blue he decided to return the favour! Ada was painted in a stunning red.

Even Sir Handel was happy. He was too busy posing for photos to complain about "cattle trucks"

No one:

Thumper in the S5 draft scripts:
In the summer lots of holiday makers would come to the Skarloey railway. All the engines liked to take them but Duke enjoyed it most of all.
"It reminds me of the olden days" he would explain as the passengers would listen to tales of the Mid Sodor railway as they travelled.

Its based off the condition Dogloch was in when Talyllyn broke down.
When Skarloey broke down he was moved to a shed out of the way & Rheneas was left to run the line alone. The coaches tried to cheer him up but with less & less passengers Rheneas felt the burden of reasonability deeply.

Non the less he continued on for Skarloey & the passengers.

Ada, Jane & Mabel had gone to the works. Their boards were rotting & they were quite out of date.

When they came back with their new roofs & panels Skarloey was waiting for them.
"Come along dears, we are to take a special train!" They were most excited!

The other engines often teased Henry for his love of the forest but he didn't care as he knew they got it wrong.

It wasn't the trees he was fond of but the wildlife that lived around them. He would often take the local trains as they allowed him to see see the animals.

"This is Dick Marriot of Sodor Island News reporting live from Tidmouth railyard where we have received news of some unusual going on! As you can see there has been the most dreadful accident! Here's how it all began..."

Either!

Its actually a photoshop of a BTS image of Dodge!
Still can't get over how they just added ladders when Sidney was introduced in CGI, kinda prefer his OG look.

Flying Scotsman was getting old & he found the mainline events starting to take their toll.
"Its alright" said the owner kindly "A diesel can take you between events to let you rest your wheels"

At first he wasn't sure about the idea but soon found himself sleeping soundly.

As Edward ran ahead with the train Locke stayed at the back, as brakevans often do, and kept an eye on the trucks as they trundled down the mainline.

If ever one tried to play a trick he's ring out his little bell & Edward would promptly bump them to make them settle down.
Glynn was very proud to be chosen to take the visitors on a vintage tour of his old branchline. The observation coaches were both heavy but knowing the visitors were enjoying the views gave him the strength to keep going.

37683 was always put in a foul mood by the snow. It caused delays up & down the mainline. The trucks, as trucks often do, teased her dreadfully.
"Lousy good for nothing termite infested planks of wood!" she would snarl "Shut it or I'll leave you out here to freeze!"
The little engines of the Arlesdale Railway are often called Toy trains but no matter the weather they prove time and time again to be just as useful as the bigger engines!
Guys you won't believe what they just saw...
