In another story by @radiodawson.bsky.social, Zuiderveld also described her perfect world as, “… if you don’t work, you don’t eat. That would fix our obesity problem right there, not to mention it’ll help our workforce problem.”
"It’s also about the exercise. So maybe we can … require the SNAP recipients to have to walk a mile to the grocery store before using their card. I — I don’t know,” Zuiderveld told lawmakers. (Sen. Glenneda Zuiderveld, R-Twin Falls)
A bill to ban SNAP, a food assistance program, from covering candy and soda is headed to the Idaho Senate.

That could be the bill's last stop before potentially heading to the governor's desk. #idleg #idpol

saaaaaaaaaaaame. he also, in-class, told us not to mix pain pills with booze unless you really want to have a good time
It's especially stupid because readers really don't care. They're not going to unsubscribe from your Substack because you cited whatever local outlet you aggregate from. It just pisses off the reporters they rely on for content
And please take note of the fact that these individuals never try to claim they've broken news that came from big traditional news outlets because they know they can't get away with it. They comb local news outlets for information and then claim news as their own.

It sucks.
I am once again asking people (and organizations) to stop giving aggregators and commentators the credit for the work local reporters do
Oh my god! Extremely American ranks number 8 in Apple Podcast’s top series. Incredible
