24 hours on and #Internet connectivity in #Uganda remains almost completely unavailable. Services were suspended by order of @UCC_Official, with a "strictly defined exclusion list" permitting limited access to essential services.

After an initial surge ahead of the planned shutdown, traffic in Uganda is down 99% as compared to the previous week. Announced IPv4 & IPv6 address space has dropped, including a complete loss at RENU.

It appears that the expected #Internet shutdown in #Uganda has been implemented in advance of upcoming elections.

A message from UCC_Official said the suspension of services would be effective at 1800 (15:00 UTC). At that time, we saw traffic from Uganda drop, falling 95% in under 30 minutes.

Iran's disconnection from the #Internet is now in its 5th day. A "whitelist" of approved sites will be reportedly be implemented, suggesting access to most external resources will continue to be limited/blocked.

Now over a day into the shutdown, the #Internet in #Iran remains almost completely unavailable. Although some traffic appeared again around 10:00 UTC today, trafflic levels are less than 0.01% of pre-shutdown peaks. Follow the latest status at radar.cloudflare.com/traffic/ir

#Iran has now been largely offline for over 18 hours. It appears that access to @1111Resolver was briefly restored around 10:00 UTC. Internal data suggests some nominal traffic recovery starting around 09:00 UTC, but volumes remain extremely low.

Just before 1200 UTC today, the amount of announced IPv6 address space in #Iran dropped by ~98.5%, concurrent with IPv6 traffic share dropping from ~12% to ~1.8%, as the govt. selectively blocks Internet access amid protests.

In #Ukraine, the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts were targeted by Russian bombing that disrupted power. There's a clear drop in Internet traffic, especially in Dnipropetrovsk, after 20:45 UTC, falling by over 40%. Traffic recovered by around 04:00 UTC (06:00 local time).

According to a post from Congo Telecom, connectivity in Congo (Brazzaville) is due to "an international incident on the WACS cable". Traffic has dropped as much as 82% below expected levels.

Earlier today, customers of Israeli provider Cellcom experienced a ~90 minute #Internet disruption. The provider acknowledged that a "malfunction" affected connectivity, with the impact visible between 07:30-09:00 UTC.
