Trump also boycotted most media in the run up to the 2024 election. It's the new strategy for controlling the narrative: flood the news-cycle with shit, but refuse to be interviewed on it. I'm against party political super mayors & concentration of power as current devolution isn't based on localism & democracy but cuts & control ... but it does mean they won't be elected under FPTP.
