i got nerd-sniped along with a friend by the problem of "how to read a keyboard shortcut on windows even if the application is unfocused" and then i created a w10 vm and all just to give it a try 🥴
i ended up doing it in 30-something lines of F#. in Notepad bc i didn't want to install VSCode
