One thing that irks me: people keep calling the folks on the streets in Minneapolis protestors. They are not generally there to protest, they are there to observe and document. This is the product of organizing and mutual aid. It is telling that these acts of citizenship are seen as protest!

If your product lists events as “X Days/weeks/etc ago”, I am _begging_ you to add an on hover or similar way to get an actual date/time stamp
If your product has articles/events but doesn’t bother putting any sort of date on each event. Well, I dunno, I guess there’s a specific ring of hell for you

Last night I went to make a purchase on Amazon. I added a new card that has my name and my billing address, and I had it shipped to my normal mailing address. This morning I received an email saying they believed an unauthorized purchase was made, cancelled the order and test my password. Wtaf?

It's been so long since I've made videos. But occasionally one will come up in a convo, and it'll prompt me to go back and re-watch some of them.
Other than the "I can't believe I was so X back then" reaction, it's funny to me to see what my start menu shortcuts looked like at different times 😂

Plexamp phoning it in with their minimal surfaced stats considering how much data they have access to. Cements their place as "Barely clearing the extremely low bar of 'Best in home media server'". I think the big stand out is Kpop Demon Hunters, given how recently it came out. We listen to it A LOT

Interestingly, my home audiobook server has way better stats than Audible. Not to say audible doesn't collect them, they just don't bother surfacing them to their product...I mean customers.
(My audiobookshelf stats are very skewed because I just onboarded to it in Oct)

Between offlining almost all of my media consumption with plex, and aggressively setting privacy/do not sell settings, I'm not getting any recap/wrapped/rewind style stuff.
It's kind of a shame, because I like the idea.

My music lessons got moved from Skype to Teams a while back. Now that I've been using Teams more on a personal account, I've been getting a lot of scam spam.
Each one is obvious (look alike domains, crypto investment, etc). Reported to MS. All have come back as not conflicting with their policies.
