NEW: NSF will be kicked out of their building. Announcement will be made tomorrow by HUD Sec. and Governor of VA. HUD will take over the NSF building over the next two years.

NSF staffer: "There is no planning for NSF, no identified future location, appropriation for a new building or a move."

THIS is insane.

Now, they are being illegally targeted by Trump, because Harvard won't back down.

As the partner of someone who works heavily in the NIH space, I can tell you with 100% certainty that valuable, important, helpful science is being crushed by this administration.
Bernie Sanders' office has put out a report this morning on Trump's NIH cuts: "Trump officials effectively cut $2.7 billion in [NIH] funding in the first three months of 2025 – including a 31 percent cut to cancer research through March, compared to the same timeframe last year."
