Having a dork in the command zone lets you skimp out on a lot of cheap ramp "vegetables" EDH decks like, making more space for your game plan. And lots of ways to build, based on the partner you pair her with!

Wait, are people actually using this unironically? I've only ever heard it used as a tongue-in-cheek way to say, "I don't want to keep holding the game up trying to optimize my play, so even if it's suboptimal I'm going to give someone else control over this next part."

I've been thinking about a cascade deck where almost every card cascades into more cascades,"laddering" down in mana value until they eventually land on Serene Remembrance, which then reloads itself and some others back into the deck to be cascaded into again.
I just don't know how to make it win.

Flexible combo piece; group hug that can exclude whoever the biggest threat is; mana dork in the command zone who helps ramp up to her partner; and a Heroes of the Realm card (Rule Zeroed in) that turns every card into a chaos play.

Gyox is so cool. I've been trying to figure out a way to make the card work on Cockatrice for a while now, just because it's such a niche, cool card I want to show to my friends. Alas; some alchemy effects are there for good reason.

One of the weirdest interactions I've gotten while playing edh happened the other day when I played an aggro deck at my lgs that I've only really played with my playgroup before. I was doing the aggro thing of hitting people before they were able to establish a big value engine and eventually (1/?)

Shen says "this way, they'll take each OTHER out." Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis are one of the more popular ones. Howling Mine and Font of Mythos also give away a lot of draw.

There are also options like Tempting Contract, Noble Heritage, and Rootweaver Druid, where you let people "opt in" to the positivity in exchange for benefitting you as well.
