High protein lemon raspberry waffles with real raspberries. I put a smear of high protein coconut yogurt over the top and, oh my goodness, heaven for breakfast.

In the early 1980s, I was exposed to Hepatitis B during a chaotic emergency department birth… the Hep B positive mother was seated in a wheelchair, being frantically pushed into the ED by her husband, when I caught the rapidly appearing baby in my ungloved hands.

The Hepatitis B vaccine saved me.

Some say it is illegal to arrest a sitting president. It is not. The president is subject to the law like everyone. That none have been arrested in the U.S. is only a policy internal to the DOJ based on the need for continuity of government operations--a policy that never imagined a criminal POTUS.

The USA has been fundamentally wrong for a long time. We praise millionaires who don't pay a living wage to their employees, and criticize those same employees who work two jobs to make ends meet as "lazy," bc they still need SNAP to get by?! We see healthcare as a "privilege," not a right. We suck!

Ilhan Omar: "It's completely disgusting. These are Americans that he is calling garbage ... it's also really important for us to remember that this kind of hateful rhetoric and this level of dehumanizing can lead to dangerous actions by people who listen to the president."

Sadly, I’ve realized that hate and bigotry has always been within some people; trump has just made them feel okay letting it out.

Despite having almost no motivation, @naso4265.bsky.social went to my mom's to put up her Christmas tree. Also one of my twins went to trim one of her trees outside the house.

My kids have grown into amazingly kind adults. ♥️

Timeline cleanse.

I've tried my hand at watercolors, but I never had the finesse needed.
One of many Cambridge street watercolours I did 30-40 years ago. Working on the spot uniquely preserves memories and feelings. The shop signs at that time in Green St were extravagantly beautiful and the passers by were sketched in quickly. Still have this one.

Another chilly day, another cup of herbal (orange, cranberry, Rooibos) tea in a mug that was gifted to me for my mother.

City of Rocks is a great place to visit, unfortunately it's full of sagebrush and I was sick as a dog the day we went.

I got another text from Santa who said that she was bored and would be at Petco until 4:00. I sent her little brother. She texted me back and said that wasn't what she meant. 🤣😂🤣

I can't wait until the United States cleanses itself of all the ugly traces of Donald Trump. Take his name off buildings. Remove all the tacky gold bric-a-brac from the White House walls. Bulldoze his vulgar ballroom. Restore MLK, Jr Day and Juneteenth at parks. #Fumigate
Donald Trump just removed Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth from the list of free entry days at national parks.

They are being replaced with Trump’s birthday.

Yoga update, I've finally healed enough from my rib injury, I can do some yin yoga. I'm being very careful to not twist my torso, I still have a dull ache. It only took four weeks to heal to this point.

Baby steps and all.
