one of the many absurdities of Sony abandoning Kpop Demon Hunters with Netflix is that NEITHER company expected this to be the next Frozen, thus missing out on zillions of dollars in merch sales.
Who else is half panicking because they had their 5yo write a letter to Santa and, naively, assumed that Huntrix dolls would be widely available? Y'all, none of the name brands will have anything before next year (for Mattel, it looks like at least October 2026).

How about we worry less, as a society, about whether individuals might be cheating to get a disability accommodation or some help buying food, and more about whether extremely wealthy people and corporations are paying their fair share of taxes?

World AIDS day is important to me as I have lost people to it and I know people living with HIV.
It is a disease I wouldn't wish on anyone, but hell with the power of medical science, people can now live normal lives thanks to medication.
