Final thoughts:
-NPCs kind of… grew on me? Still not what I want from Metroid, but they had a bit more nuance than just being Quirk Chungus… and none of them were Adam Malkovich. Made the ending hit surprisingly well for me. Favourites were Tokabi and the robot.
-Atmosphere is very strong, comparable to Prime 1 even!
-It’s a bit linear; less Prime 1, more Prime 3.
-Myles sucks, but at times I got the impression the game knows that.
-I weirdly like the open world hub? I like stumbling on cool points of interest.
