The correlation between measurement settings and particle states is no more conspiratorial than the correlation between the three angles of a triangle summing to 180 degrees—it's a mathematical necessity, not a causal connection
Mathematics is effective at describing the universe for the same reason that a blueprint is effective at describing a building—it is the source code from which the structure is generated. The laws of nature are not discovered in a laboratory and then described by mathematics.
In his 1960 essay, the physicist Eugene Wigner marveled at the "unreasonable effectiveness of mathematics in the natural sciences." The effectiveness of mathematics is not unreasonable at all; it is a necessity.
Wave-particle duality is an artifact of projecting a rotational pattern onto a linear observational framework; the "wave" is the projection of the rotation, and the "particle" is the discrete winding event
The circle group (S¹) and gauge group U(1) are the SAME THING! #Physics, have you studied #math? (perhaps not!)
The correlations that violate Bell's inequalities are produced not by non-local influence ("spooky action at a distance") but by the pre-existing local correlation between the detector and the particle. The system is "rigged" from the beginning, but it is rigged by the deterministic laws of physics.
We apply the “Feynman Integrity Test,” demonstrating that the current system, by its own design, would have excluded the 1905 Albert Einstein.
Feynman’s Cargo Cult, 50 Years Later: "No Serious Quantum Biologist...," and PhD-Only Gatekeeping
Fifty years after Richard Feynman’s seminal address, the “Cargo Cult” metaphor is more relevant than ever, describing a contemporary academic system that has perfected the rituals of science while stifling foundational discovery. This analysis argues that the modern scientific guild has become a systemic equilibrium that rewards safe, incremental iteration over high-risk innovation. The phenomenon of “planes not landing” is reinterpreted for the 21st century as a measurable decline in disruptive science, a crisis evidenced by the stagnation of fundamental breakthroughs and the widespread failure of replication. Using a recent Twitter exchange dismissing speculative quantum biology as a case study, this paper examines the rhetorical and institutional gatekeeping mechanisms—from the social policing of “seriousness” to the explicit credentialism of platforms like SciPost—that enforce this conservative paradigm. We apply the “Feynman Integrity Test,” demonstrating that the current system, by its own design, would have excluded the 1905 Albert Einstein. The paper deconstructs the guild’s defenses, revealing that its credential-based filters are not only ineffective at ensuring rigor but are existentially necessary to protect the guild’s hierarchical structure from a true meritocracy. We conclude that the academic guild now functions as a parasitic entity on the scientific method, necessitating the development of parallel, open systems to foster the genuine inquiry it can no longer support.

Just as epicycles were an artificial construct added to save the geocentric model, #darkmatter is an artificial construct added to save the Newtonian 3D #gravity. The correct model—general relativity w/ a lower-dimensional information structure—requires no such epicycles.
As described by Thomas Kuhn in The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, all “innovation” is now merely incremental optimization of a failed design—a futile attempt to achieve escape velocity from a launchpad chained down by fundamental physics.
The quantum computing industry, after a 44-year history originating from early theoretical proposals, has consumed over $30 billion in global investment yet has failed to produce a single commercially viable, on-premises product. doi.org/10.5281/zeno...

This document presents a comprehensive strategic framework for the future of advanced computing, arguing for a fundamental paradigm shift from the current pursuit of theoretical purity—embodied by the race to a universal quantum computer—to a pragmatic, market-driven model. doi.org/10.5281/zeno...

Consider an object described by the features “red,” “round,” and “apple.” We could assign the prime 2 to “red,” 3 to “round,” and 5 to “apple.” The object would then be encoded as the integer 2 × 3 × 5 = 30. Another object, a “red ball,” might be encoded as 2 × 3 × 7 = 42 (with 7 for “ball”).
Physical reality emerges not from linear foundations with circular corrections, but from circular/topological primitives with linear projections.
This mathematical property of the circle—where loops can only be deformed into one another if they wrap around the circle the same number of times—provides a natural mechanism for quantization that eliminates the need for ad hoc quantum postulates.
What is base-10 good for? Not much, the #universe cares not for our integer #math, but they are more useful than Roman numerals for file versioning.
The #Nobel #physics prize was awarded for #quantum #research 3 decades ago, which is about how long #IBM has been trying, unsuccessfully, to build a *real* quantum #computer. Telling...
Dimensional constants—Newton’s gravitational constant G, the speed of light c, and Planck’s constant ℏ—represents another symptom of #physics’ foundational crisis. These constants serve as conversion factors between different measurement systems rather than fundamental parameters.
#Quantum computing is the same age as I am, yet has failed to produce a single commercially viable, on-premises product. If #nature were called to account for such a failure, we'd surely never have evolved from amoeba.
If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough yourself. #quantum #physics #science
