They are fiddly, super easy to get scanned and hacked.
Using a mag strip takes me like 10 seconds max and using a chip can take up to 5 minutes if the reader is being buggy.

It's vaguely annoying to me that a YouTuber I used to watch a lot posted that they casually use genAI, got challenged on it, argued semantics, then nothing happened after that and nobody cared.
