naomi, depending on the point in her character development, may be more or less cool with it not for stodgy reasons but more “…are they allowed to do this?? oh god are we gonna get in trouble???” reasons, but would also come around more or less quickly.

to do it for my own characters… i think, actually, lionheart would be pretty accepting of this once he got over the initial surprise. part of this may be because he doesn’t have intervening centuries of context in musical history and politics. but also, he likes music and it’s a bop.
