Also it was also EXTREMELY Sonically Unpleasant in a Purposeful Way. The bass SHOOK the room. Tbh the main thing i came away with was
“i hope the sound engineers get some award because that was so intensely overstimulating and revolting.”

YES thank you. It was especially polarizing to be in a theatre and hear how it achieved the disgusted reactions of other moviegoers to it. It made me really prickle.

i really feel the same way about ittttttt. On the rewatch the feeling was less strong but i still. Did not super enjoy it. I loved the effects, but it was not my thing.

And this isnt even saying addressing how much more critical and fucking MEAN ppl are about how you look when you’re GNC, butch, and/or trans AND fat. Like we’ve seen how mean ppl were to that butch who dressed in vests and pants. You’d be asking to call em daddy if they were skinny!!

Most pants off the rack look terrible on me due to my apron belly; they either bunch and hike up into my crotch or leave my calves swimming in fabric.
I’m happy for them raising awareness for clothing options and people being supportive of them! But you wouldnt say that to me!

I know this is infighting but it does irl me that a lot of “plus size fashion influencers” are still “acceptably fat” (e.g., no hanging belly, minimal double chin, minimal stretch marks, less rolls), bc while i appreciate body positivity, we Arent actually playing the same game here, lol
