Reminder that Violent J of Insane Clown Posse has the correct response to a lot of the shitty things he said in the early days.

Literally one spent 8 paragraphs on the protest and then devoted another 10 to printing the state Republican response in full. But they're not biased.

Two of our three major local news orgs quoted the state Republican party statement at length and used less space on quotes or details from the actual protesters. I have not seen a single one quote the Democratic party. The third wrote a very short article but did get a comment from CD1's rep.

Still appalled at how paltry and terrible the NYT coverage of the protests were and how nobody there feels any responsibility to address the criticism. This was not something that caught them off guard. This was many levels of decisions.

Finding out that my sister's in laws both passed, not from her (my uncle told me about the first one and I just found the obit for the second), and coming to the realization that the relationship I had with her in the last decade is probably only because of them was not on my list for today, thanks
