Trouble at the Bathhouse

Joey swings open the bathhouse door, the bell chiming "ding-a-ling." Joey: Y'said you needed to see me? Joey goes pale, reverting to a 70s shojo manga style with her mouth agape in shock and two exclamation points. Back in color, Joey stands in shock, her angel hairpins popping off their head as Olric, holding a suspicious green drink, converses with Juniper. Olric: And you say this'll get me real gains? Juniper: You'll certainly gain something! Olric takes a big gulp of the drink as Joey runs toward him, reaching out to him helplessly. Joey: OLRIC, NO!!!!! A puff of smoke bursts with a "poof!!" sound effect. Most of the comic page is taken up by a near-full body shot of Olric, who now has bunny ears, turning around to show off a bunny tail. He obverses himself curiously. Olric: Wow... Olric flexes happily, seeming to not notice his new ears and tail. Joey stands behind him with blank eyes. Olric: I feel great! I'm kind of hungry now, though? Juniper (offscreen): You ought to eat some carrots. Olric happily waves. Olric: Thanks Juniper! See ya round, Joey! Joey stands still with blank eyes and mouth hanging open. Joey remains in the same pose unchanged as Olric exits offscreen, the door bell chiming "ding-a-ling" as he leaves. Juniper puts her hands on her hips and looks at Joey snidely. Juniper: Ah, Joey... it seems you saw all that, huh? Your effort to save him was in vain... Juniper lifts her hand and gives off an "ojousama" laugh. Juniper: I'll have you know, I've been conducting experiments on the townsfolk for quite a while... Ohohoho! That must tear you to pieces! The poor townsfolk! What could you possibly do to stop me? Juniper leans forward, hands on her hips as she stares smugly at Joey, who stares back at her with a blank expression. Juniper: I suppose I'd leave them alone if you decided to be my guinea pig, instead. Joey: Do you have other potions like that for Olric? Juniper closes her eyes and smirks. Juniper: Well, not for him specifically, but- Juniper's eyes shoot open and she purses her lips, given pause. Joey looks at Juniper eagerly, holding up a red notebook as her wing hairclips bounce lightly. Joey: Bunny ears on Olric is such a great idea! I can be a guinea pig if it means you try more stuff on him! I got some ideas I can show off! Juniper stares at her, dumbfounded. Juniper: You aren't supposed to react like this. Joey blushes and flips open to a page of her notebook, which features a crude drawing of Olric with pointy dragon ears, a tail, scales, and him ripping off his shirt. Joey giggles, blood trickling down her nose, and her wing hairclips flap rapidly. Joey: Like him as a half dragon! He has scales on his chest that he's gotta let breathe sometimes, so his shirt can just rip right off... And when he gets mad he gets bigger- Juniper steps back, holding up an arm in disgust as she stares judgmentally at Joey. Doom lines appear behind her. Juniper (thinking): No amount of bathwater could ever wash away this kind of filth...
