I can happily say that I've finally made something. I've been working on this on and off for almost a year now, and I bit back the inner cringe to make a video game music video, complete with 2000's era Coldplay

I used to look up to all the military until I realized how much of it is doing the bidding of the guy on top, but I always held out respect for the national guard, and all the good they do in the community after natural disasters. Now I get to watch them being called like medieval levies. Truly sad.

is it just me, or is the wider FFXIV RP/Modding community kinda eating itself right now? I try not to worry about shit that doesn't affect me, but I swear, I'm seeing drama after drama after callout in some big servers.

I'm late to the party, but is amazingly funny to me that Mare's shutdown date will always be remembered by me thanks to it being my birthday.
Had a nice dinner, got some nice new shoes, filters for my Brita pitcher. Oh, and Mare shut down. The birthday gift I wasn't aware I wanted! Happy 26th, me!

learned that there's a non 0% chance that having covid under 25 might have given me some sort of brain damage, and also finally learned what the term brainfog means. I was genuinely startled to learn that, because I've felt like words and thoughts just don't come to me as clear since covid.
