Avatar season 2 episode 6 I can CONFIRM that the internet was not in fact gaslighting me about Toph's existence. She's in the show after all, only took 26 episodes is all.

No no, third birthday since then. I replayed Birthright after Legendary Hinoka released in Summer 2023 and became a fan then. Then I +10ed her NY alt at the beginning of 2024.

Is this considered too deep in the Toradora sauce?

I think recognizing a connection between the author's notes of the light novels and the SOS miniseries is as niche as you can get without going into the Japanese-exclusive spinoff novels.

A discord message I wrote reading: Actually I take it back I just realized the first episode focusing on Tarako spaghetti is a callback to the author's notes from the 1st novel where she talks about being addicted to Tarako spaghetti. When Ami curses her agent for making her do a commercial involving the stuff that she (ostensibly) doesn't enjoy, she's really cursing her creator on high, Yuyuko Takemiya, who loves the stuff.

SOS is peak after all.

Attached are two screenshots. One with Yuyuko Takemiya's notes from the first LN which read: Yes, I stopped the hand that was twirling my tarako spaghetti. I
needed to do work more befitting a member of society. It wasn’t the time to
eat two meals of tarako spaghetti a day (let alone 200 grams of it). Because
of that, my stomach has become like this…! If I could only shave off these
pounds…!
So, because of that, this year, I’m pushing forward on work. I’m also
thinking of cutting back on the tarako spaghetti. Anyway, in order to give
you, my readers, tons more to enjoy, I will earnestly and wholeheartedly
work so hard that I smash my keyboard to bits.

The other is a screenshot of the Toradora SOS anime where Taiga Aisaka, Minori Kushieda, and Ami Kawashima are eating tarako spaghetti.

On one hand I agree with the criticism that pretty much every skirt in this game is a skort.

Had to do a funky workaround to get past the first cutscene crash but...looks pretty great ngl...

2x upscale, hovers around 45fps usually (I think S1 runs it at 30, S2 at 60).

We'll see if I have any other issues with it.

I'm in chapter 4 replaying Tokyo Mirage Sessions and yeah, still one of the top 10 best video games of all-time.

You know you did your JRPG battle system right when I'm constantly eager to get into more random enemy encounters.

Its battle system also makes for Atlus's best designed boss fights.

Miranda lost her father and lived as a hostage yet still found the will to take up arms under Leif's command but Leif couldn't even tell her "no, sorry".

But fret not, this young lady with more chutzpah than the Sage-Lord could dream of still settles down as a mother eventually. God bless Cowga 🫡

I dunno how a triple agent in the form of a cat righting a big stuffed moogle isn't a hit with everyone. I don't even know why people wouldn't like Cait Sith? Like with Yuffie they find her attitude annoying I guess. I disagree, but sure. Cait Sith though? Like why?

Still a month and a half to go until my annual Toradora rewatch but I just *really* wanted to watch an episode of Toradora right now.

I compromised with the Bento OVA. Hit the spot *perfectly*. Smiled so much my damn face started hurting.

At the end of the day, Toradora is like some kinda magic.

And btw toi8 designed Tsubasa to wear glasses so there *is* a correct option here.
