My youngest brother with friends at No Kings in Temecula, the heart of Trump country in Southern California. He's the frog.

The New York Times has done it again. The Tilt by Nate Cohn tries to make the argument that because no one has tinkered with health care in the recent past, it's not an issue anymore. According to him, everyone is satisfied with the current state of health care. So why are the Democrats making 1/x

Wonder why there are commissaries on military bases? Because the military doesn't pay it's enlisted personnel very much. Commissaries provide food and other goods at discount prices so families can afford to stay in the service. It is that simple. Wonder how many will make it a career now.

Tylenol, schmylenol. Raise your hand if your mom smoked and drank while she was pregnant with you (basically anyone Gen X or older).

Does he get his makeup at Benjamin Moore?

Cutting drug prices by 1500% reduces the cost to zero. So adding a tariff of 250% to that price increases the cost to ... zero. No one said he was a genius, except himself.
So... Trump says he's cutting drug prices by 1500% while adding tariffs of 250% on them if made outside the country. Someone help me figure out the math here.
Trump: "We'll be putting an initially small tariffs on pharmaceuticals. But in one year, one in a half years maximum, it's gonna go to 150% and then it's gonna go to 250%, because we want pharmaceuticals made in our country."

If you haven't heard from them, how do you know that they over it? Seems to me that you should ask them before you make bold statements you'll regret later.
Gimenez: "I haven't heard from my constituents. Americans are over the Epstein case. They have been over it for a long time ... we need to move on."

Couldn't make a No Kings protest today, but while driving through Martell, CA, honked for the several hundred protesters along Highway 49. For those not from CA, Martell is in the heart of red California. Tom McClintock, perhaps the most conservative member from California, is their representative.

Every veteran (me, USAF 1966-1970) should be up in arms over this. The military has NO role in domestic policing. Trump's lackey, Stephen Miller, is the dirtbag behind this move. When tRump is out of office, he and all his enablers need to face justice, notwithstanding the Supreme Court's ruling.
📣 It’s time for every veteran to stand up, and with one voice express our opposition to the deployment of active duty U.S. forces against the American people.

@schiff.senate.gov It appears that DOGE has access to classified nuclear weapons information. There better be Senate hearings on this this week. There is NO reason this information should be available to them for any reason. This is a national security issue of the highest priority. 🚩🚩🚩

@nealkatyal.bsky.social Haven't seen or heard from you lately. Could it be that your law firm's capitulation to tRump has resulted in you taking a low profile approach because you’ve realized that no one wants to talk to you about current events, but would rather ask why you stay with them? Me too.

@vanhollen.senate.gov You just saw Mr. Abrego Garcia. Can you confirm that he does NOT have these tattoos on his hand. Because if he doesn't, you are saying what we all know, that Trump and his lackeys are outright liars.
Donald wants "to take bad people out of the United States". Well Donald, a highly respected court found you to be a sexual abuser. Another highly respected court found you to be a fraudster. So, time for you to self deport to El Salvador.

And many, if not most, are Republicans in rural America. They've all drunk the kool-aid. Hopefully they'll wake up soon and start fighting back.
Hospitals. Clinics. Nursing Homes.

Patients. Families. Communities.

Health care for millions of Americans.

That’s who's hurt by Republican cuts to Medicaid.

According to RFK Jr.,you're just not eating the right foods. There must be something you can eat that will offset the e. coli, after all.
No need for inspections—truth, food, or anything else under Trump. Negligence was the plan all along. Bon appétit, America!

Hey Seb - here I am. I advocate for due process for Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Come get me if you have the cajones.

Rep. Dan Meuser is maybe not a terrorist. But he's a potential terrorist. He's a terrorist watchlist person.

What's the difference? The difference is that Meuser is a Republican, and we are learning quickly that they are terrorists.

And yet a Republican delegation was just there yesterday. How hypocritical can these folks get?
Rep. Michael Rulli on Democrats wanting to take an official trip to El Salvador for Abrego Garcia: "I'm going to plead to the chairman that that CODEL is rejected. The taxpayers are not gonna pay for this show ... this is an embarrassment."
