Trump is going to show up at the World Cup draw tomorrow and start rearranging the groups with a sharpie, right? Who's going to stop him??

Why don't more democratic elected officials just talk like this?

Trump is giving them gift after gift and they seem totally unable or unwilling to accept them.
Congressman Henry Cuellar was indicted for money laundering, bribery, and conspiracy, allegedly taking about $600,000, mostly from Azerbaijan, to influence U.S. policy.

President Donald Trump pardoned Cuellar, because Trump supports money laundering, bribery, and conspiracy.
Trump announces a pardon of Henry Cuellar: "I am hereby announcing my full and unconditional PARDON of beloved Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar, and Imelda. Henry, I don’t know you, but you can sleep well tonight — Your nightmare is finally over!"

I love how they position this shit as if it was cool when Obama did it. It wasn't. We didn't approve of it then either. This is no different than the Rs who say "well Bill Clinton is in the Epstein Files". Yeah! We know! Toss his ass in jail too.

This is adorable. Love a politician who can admit he doesn't know something.

Also, only one of these men is married to a law professor. Let that be a lesson to you...

Mike Pence wrote an opinion piece for Fox News. Reading the headline, I was like, "Okay, seems like a normal take."

Then I read the subheadline and... bro, what?

If you can't imagine how to make "Trump is literally bulldozing the White House" a message that is memorable to normie voters, maybe it's time to give up work in politics and pursue another field.

I just checked and this is real. It's on Border Patrol's official Instagram (I don't see it on Facebook) and is being celebrated by Nazis on Twitter, as you can see in the screenshot.

The clip is just 13 seconds long too, so it's a very intentional thing. We've got a Nazi government.

This obituary does mention the reason he became a household name in California. The fact that he sued the Berkeley rent board and won, leading to what everyone at the time called Searle Rent Increases.
John Searle, a philosopher who was best known for a thought experiment he formulated, decades before the rise of ChatGPT, to disprove that a computer program by itself could ever achieve consciousness, died at 93.

His blunt debating and imaginative theorizing about artificial intelligence and the human mind made him a leading scholar. But sexual-harassment allegations ended his career.

I never really bought into the whole "words are violence" think when the left was doing it. It feels particularly silly coming from the "fuck your feelings" movement.
