DC & Marvel. I remember seeing preview panels in the catalog that came in my monthly comics subscription box and, even tho I was intrigued by the concept, I couldn’t get past Dunn’s sexist drawings. But it’s hard to resent it now, as it spawned such a great show. ⬇️

The 90’s were the “bad girl” superhero era, where the skimpier the outfit, the “badder” the character was. Big boobs (barely contained in a low-cut top), unnaturally tiny waist, unnaturally long legs. Warrior Nun Areala was one of the examples, although it was all over independent and ⬇️

I was a little annoyed by the voiceovers, but eager to see what all these fully-dressed warriors (I was aware of & appalled by the comic) were up to & what the once-dead chick was going to do with that thing in her back.

Mon/Tue 3.5 mile Le Concrete Loop walk. Later this evening, I’ll make a delicious & healthy chicken/tomato/spinach/cous cous soup, but immediately after work I was starving & made a Taco Bell run. This was the car in front of me. 🤣🤣❤️
