it is not enough to agree with progressive ideology you actually have to change how you live your life and deprioritize your own comfort when considering politics. As a very pro-FOSS person, this is a good run-down on some major problems in the space.
Too many have adopted a "Dark Souls Community" mindset, where the abstruse nature of current FOSS applications is a part of it's identity that should never be remedied.
