When Lisbon, Portugal suffered a massive earthquake that killed mainly church-goers voltaire said “wait i don’t think its god punishing us”. Thus began a critical juncture in detaching spirituality from mortal pettiness. Also DISASTER STUDIES. I could yap about Ilan Kelman for days.

Possible Master’s thesis topic - sub regional trade in pacific Asia through Asean and why they are WASTING the GIANT GOLD MINE that they are sitting on. They were holding their ground against Chinese industry ruining local industry until the 2010’s.

After much deliberation, teenage angst, drama, pathetic fits of anxiety, and general malaise… the chthonic hellscape of applying for grad school has more or less kind of settled to Elysian fields level discomfort. Yay IPE at UCD! Yay acronyms!
