Someday I will make a fishing game about FLY FISHING. It irks me that every fishing game to ever exist features exclusively bait casting and or gear fishing, which are arguably the least exciting and technical types of fishing.

Hi incase you miss me, I’ve been doing fish art, baking bread, and reading books in my free time instead of looking into the void.

Hi!👋I've been leading character art on Spirit Crossing with @spryfox.bsky.social for the last few years and, as I'm new to BlueSky, I thought I'd try sharing some of the work that's gone into making characters for an MMO over the next few months! Follow if you like characters and lil tech details 😊

Hey!

Do you need a highly technical character artist with almost 15 years of individual contributor and leadership experience? Looking for someone to wrangle your shaders? Or perhaps you need a person to assemble your character art pipeline?

That's me!

Detail of a new piece for my Patreon supporters, I am thankful. "Perhaps you will find the tunnel that leads outside our mournful, underground prison..."

Every time I see a headline like this, it makes me spend even less.
If you want people to spend more, pay them more.

The way my LinkedIn feed is lookin, you'd think that the industry was planning to simply stop making games after January.

To the people who think that AI means “we won’t have to work anymore” I will say this: if the ruling class thought that AI was going to benefit the working class they would be lobbying against it, not investing hundreds of billions into it.

This might be the most realistic portrayal of being an artist working for indecisive directors/leads I've ever seen on tv. Everyone needs to be watching The Chair Company.

I think we need to stop calling it empathy and go back to calling it decency. It isn't a favour you're doing someone else, it's you proving that you aren't a fucking ghoul
