Yesterday we got the prognosis on my Dad. He has stage 4 colon cancer, 6-12 months.
But he’s so weak I’m thinking 4-6 months.
Is it bad I’m thankful cancer will take him out before the dementia gets too bad?
I was expecting this result, he’s been ill a long time.

I bought myself flowers because I wanted them. Smudge is admiring them.
My husband took our kids to his parents yesterday so I could have 4.5 hours alone. That’s how he showed/shows his love for me everyday.

Hi all,
I haven’t updated in a while but this is a good one.
Kate was moved to rehab today so she is out of the hospital which is huge!!!
She still has a long recovery but we are all so excited for this progress so far!

Hi everyone. Another update.
She is awake and responding with nods yes and no and can move her limbs.
She is physically ready to leave the ICU.
They have been sitting her up in a chair and putting tv shows on for her.
She still has a very long recovery but we are all heartened with progress

Hi friends. As you may know the poor woman who was struck by a garbage truck in Clayton Park two weeks ago was a former co-worker of mine.
The charity where we worked, Chalice is running a fundraiser to help her husband cover expenses while he is off work at her bedside.
She is progressing daily

Almost 10yo didn’t want a party this year so I freshened up her pink hair this morning and after her musical theatre class we went shopping at Hot Topic and had lunch. Then we got storm snacks at Dollarama.

Someone honked at me when I turned right into Bedford Commons and kept in my lane.
They were turning left from Bedford and assumed they owned both lanes 🙃
The sign at the right turn is not a yield sign.
