Nothing captures the rot of imperial self-regard quite like the flood of editorials and opinion pieces hailing Trump for 'ending' the genocide in Gaza.

They're seriously applauding themselves for halting their own complicity in mass murder. Imagine...

On the 6th of October Israel had about 5,000 Palestinian prisoners.
Today, *after the exchange* Israel holds at least 9,000 prisoners, most of them have not been charged.
Conditions in prisons became intolerable after Oct 7. Torture and starvation are standard.

Den selvfede fik ingen fredspris. Til gengæld nappede den palæstinensiske kemiker Omar M. Yaghi, født i Jordan af palæstinensiske flygtninge, en Nobelpris for sin forskning i "metal-organiske strukturer".
