I have that feeling that the dozens of hard seltzer/sodas/whatever I see in cans at the liquor store could easily be made like a juice box instead. Would probably taste better with real juice as well.

Yeah. They could have remained absurdly rich, and let the rest of us have a society, but that wasn't enough, was it? They want to take everything the rest of us have. And that's what's ultimately bring their world crashing down.

I work as a janitor, so I should run for office offering to clean up after all this. Flannel shirts, boots, the usual song and dance. Then when elected find out I'm much, much further to the left than they thought. A reverse-Fetterman gambit.

I compared my pre-covid University experience with my Father, who attended the same University in the 1970's. (University of Iowa) Almost every aspect or benefit he received as part of his tuition was separated to be an additional cost by the time I went to college.

I'd say it's still possible for a young student to be able to engage in self discovery- but not the infrastructure. Iowa City prides itself on being a City of Literature and the Arts, but does not actively support it in the ways it should.
