A nuisance when it counts, an advocate for women and girls, semi-professional busybody, recovering resident of Florida. Woke is my factory setting. Also a fan of government transparency and accountability. Call me a dreamer.

No DMs. Really,none.
For no particular reason, is Cheryl Hines ok?

Yesterday, Trump defended the Saudi Crown Prince in the Oval Office.

He said he had “nothing” to do with the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

But I reviewed a call while serving on Trump’s NSC that I believe would be of interest to the Khashoggi family and the American people.

Release the transcript.

Next year, Americans will see the biggest jump in health insurance costs in 15 years.

Meanwhile, the seven largest health insurance companies made a combined $71B in profits in 2024.

MTG isn't defecting to OUR side (however you define it), she's angling to be the successor for THEIR side.

Let them fight, but don't be so open-minded your brains fall out.

One significant way to fix the federal deficit? Dramatically raise the minimum wage across our country. It will cause an increase in tax collections, much less people on federal assistance, and health outcomes will improve causing less reliance on federal health programs.

Most Americans agree we need to get money out of politics. If that takes a constitutional amendment, then that's what we have to do. And if that's going to take years, then it's all the more reason to begin pushing now.

Jeff Bezos paid $50 million for a wedding. He just got a $16 billion tax break. He just laid off 60,000 people.

And you're furious about a kid getting a free school lunch?

800+ flights cancelled today because Elon took a chainsaw to the federal government and Trump won’t pay the remaining airport personnel.

Elon’s on his way to becoming a trillionaire.

Trump’s net worth has more than doubled inside a year.

Glad everything worked out for them.

How about you?

For almost four decades, Nancy Pelosi has served the American people and worked to make our country better. No one was more skilled at bringing people together and getting legislation passed – and I will always be grateful for her support of the Affordable Care Act.

Nancy Pelosi’s legacy is unmatched. As the first woman Speaker, she shattered ceilings and paved the way for so many of us to lead boldly. Thank you, Speaker Pelosi, for your service and for generously making space for the next generation to lead.

Now that Elon is a trillionaire, it’s worth remembering that time he challenged the UN Food Org to come up with a plan to eradicate hunger for $5 Billion, and if they could he would fund it. They did so, and he stiffed them totally.

The New York Times quickly sending out Douthat to argue that Mamdani’s victory doesn’t really matter is so predictable it borders on self-parody.

Remember, folks: Every time the Right wins an election, it’s an undeniable expression of the will of the people. If a lefty wins, it’s just a blip.

As always, FOTUS gave away the game. He wasn’t on the ballot. He knows he never will be again. And he does not give a shit about what happens next. He didn’t help Rs in 2025 and he will not help them in 2026. Might be time for a think,no?
