Abiotic Factor is out, 1.0~ and I wanted to make sure I was well and prepped and make a fitting tribute to the game that I've loved from the word go.

Ultimately, it's great, if you loved the original, it's incredibly worth it to revisit it with the remaster, probably better to do so on a console.

If you enjoyed the remaster of the first game, this was improved in every aspect (I always felt NPCs in 1 looked like Ken dolls)

Poor Optimization, the game ran perfectly on Ultra on the first and last stage, but Albion forced me to degrade to high, just for some settings... but Takoshima and Tunguska required me to run on Low.

Frame drops out of nowhere, half loaded character models and lip de-sync.

Takoshima aged pretty poorly, while beautifully revived with an incredibly vibrant locale and a host of models great models the dialogue in this stage remained faithful to the original for better or worse.

This level, more than Albion highlighted however some glaring technical faults.

The added cutscenes have really helped patch some otherwise over bloated missions and keep them fresh.

The archive audio, for the most part is incredible, hearing Anthony Head as Reginald always made me happy, and I could still spend an hour running around scanning brains for cheap laughs

The devs really went beyond with the character models, there's a lot more variety on show here than the original game, even if that's just a few extra models of the same NPC.

The heightened style has been leaned into a lot harder than DAH1 for the better.

This review will be pretty quick.

Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed is superb game, that is held back by it's technical faults.

7/10

The level of detail in the levels, there's so many small tweaks to the environment that help immerse yourself in the setting, it's incredible.
