honestly I might do those posts on my vent/sfw. it kinda makes sense lol, and I think the fact I am posting my sfws over there is kinda killing the posts a little, and really I was seeking validation that those posts could grow on their own, but I am finding out I really dont need that validation

I dare not attempt any October challenges anymore, but I've actually been pretty good at doodling at least one thing a day so far. Tiny notebook and direct lines/no sketch so nothing amazing, but it feels very nice!

So a thread of Autumn dailies it is.

For a while I have been struggling with colors. I decided to do a limited palette sketches to try to break from my regular norm.
whenever i work on characters i struggle to interpret colors other than slight hue shifting. i would love to be able to use more interesting pallets confidently.

Sorry to anyone who likes me, who invests time in me, who thinks i have something to offer. I bounce between wishing you all would forget me, but also terrified you all will move on from my boring existence and forget me without a trace. Maybe i just want it to happen, to not feel anyone drift away from me, the slow pain of seeing those people who i like and who say they like me to painfully hold on, too keep trying to be friends with me even though i am nothing, to falsely assume i am a person and not a shadow of a child, who died 20 years ago. I am sorry.

I hate how performative our holidays feel here, playing adolescent games that suck up time and distract from people talking to eachother. Not that I hate activities, just these ones that no one enjoys, but they act like it to keep this fake face of fun alive.
