He was building a space jet but freestyle (without instructions) and then there's a drawing of the little lego space jet that he's building "and I remember thinking to myself"

In wavy text: how does he know what he wants it to look like? How does he know what parts he needs next? How does he know what to make? Many question marks with baby kwai looking on with one raised eyebrow

Because all I saw when I looked at loose lego, drawing of loose lego blocks, was loose lego.

I believe its been shown that sketches, since theyre more free form, allow for your brain to fill in a lot of the details, which makes them more appealing and fluid
