Irfu playing chicken with the fans over the autumn game not selling out:
If you ungrateful lot won't buy our over priced tickets, we'll go play in the US instead!
Furlong seems back to some of his best form, but his injury profile for the last 18 months has me spooked. Agree Clarkson may push Bealham out. Hoping pressure from Boyle or McCarthy will push Porter a bit, particularly in the scrum
Can't disagree with that
We only have one elite level half back and he seems in decline. Centres are creaking and we could do with a refresh and out and out pace in the back 3
Most of the front and second row will make the next WC. Beirne might not but he's undroppable. The starting back row is quality, but drop off in experience behind it is a problem of the coach's making. Throw in Edogbo and maybe Gleeson and we're in decent shape there. The backs are the problem
Doris coming straight back into the form he left in was the highlight of the game. We really missed him and Joe as heavy carriers. Also thought Baird had maybe his best game in green. There's good young, or at least mid 20s players in the pack. Just an over reliance on aging backs
Yeah, decibel. Thought JGP played well, certainly kicked well, in the first half. Also Furlong until he went off. The rest of them weren't good alright
A lot of disappointment doing the rounds after last night, and understandably so. I had hoped Farrell would have started succession planning far earlier, but I do think it's worth noting how well Tommy O'Brien and Paddy McCarthy played for their second and first caps

You can set your watch to VDF peeling off the back of a fake maul alright. It was a shambles last night. Need a big change and fast
That's why I went with Ahern as my pick. Farrel seems happy to shift guys into certain positions and pack the bench with beef. Same way he often gives a centre the 23 jersey rather than a utility back
Sheehan can also probably cover 7
I guess Andy owes both of them a couple of caps tbf. Timoney in particular is always the bridesmaid
I would imagine this is what will happen, unless McCarthy comes back. It's not a bad shout. 4 jumpers should also help our misfiring line out. Ahern would be my choice for no 20 in this scenario

I'll start by saying I thought he was grand.

But if Sam misses a kickable pen, puts on out on the full under no pressure, misses touch from a penalty in his 22, kicks a free kick up in the air deep into the 22 for a mark, and gives away a pen trying to beat a player with no support - CRUCIFIED
Barrett taking out our best player by leading with his chin?
We have no access to anything other than Blue Meeja ™️ inside the Pale so I had no idea 🤷

Literally 2 days ago you said Ireland shouldn't rule out deporting migrants. I hope you have the self awareness to reflect on this and consider your words carefully in future. I hope the Gardaí will also change their approach to the far right in response to this

Yeah, it's Robbie's injury profile, recent form and lack of pace are the issues for me. What a hero, but time to look at younger options imo. Osborne or Gavin look like prospects at 12. Would love to give them a shot soon
I would have loved to see some new faces art centre this year. Aki and Robbie will never make the next WC, so time to thank them for the memories
FIA clearly trying to manufacture a dramatic climax to the season by looking they other way so that Max stays in the hunt. Basically the opposite of last year when they penalised him for everything in the hope Norris would catch up
#notasport anymore, sadly
Lewis Hamilton felt aggrieved at his 10-second penalty in Mexico City, while others were not punished for taking to the grass.
