I have to say I totally disagree with the idea that the kicking game worked well.

We kicked away a lot of good ball for little or no reward. We were sloppy with a few (the random free kick that was hoofed up in the air for nothing was bizarre). Missed touch from pens, out on the full. Many errors

I think in general I have a fairly high “politician forgiveness” threshold because I understand they face a firehose of shit everyday and also in a democracy they have to comprise all the time, but Simon Harris not standing up for immigrants in this moment feels like one that crosses that threshold

I'll start by saying I thought he was grand.

But if Sam misses a kickable pen, puts on out on the full under no pressure, misses touch from a penalty in his 22, kicks a free kick up in the air deep into the 22 for a mark, and gives away a pen trying to beat a player with no support - CRUCIFIED

I have never and will never understand how in the WRU's proposal to cut a team, the two teams who've actually been reasonably regularly competitive and actually won the league have to justify their existence more than the one that's never finished better than about third last

Not a great start for the F1/F2 this morning. Walked from the KCR to Stephens Green without seeing one, albeit I did see 4 out of service busses!

When they concede 31 points and only score 14, at home, against their interpro rivals, I don't think it's *less* anyone really.

The 6 front rows, James Ryan and Josh played about a 7 out of 10. Everyone else was at best a 5.
