visititaly.eu is a hard read, unlike the food. "Molise surface is so limited and the most densely populated cities, country seats Campobasso and Isernia, don't exceed 50k inhabitants and most of the towns count about 1000 inhabitants".
Even the wine is misspelled. Tintrillia! Instead of tintilia. 😫

Sound like the new author of the year?
"This stunning debut tells the story of a young mother who is trapped in a marriage to the odious Ryan who subjects her to an array of emotional abuses and coercive control. When she attempts to escape her path is neither linear nor smooth."
A triumph!! 📚

Too much art? What sort of art. Even the Academia Belle Arti Roma has sat out of this one. Something's not right. Testaccio cannot and should not live on art alone. It's to visceral for that with it's own foundations literally built on built on broken amphore.

There are 2 types of prosecco. Those made traditionally, and those that are not. The former is as it should be. 15 of the latter are made for mass markets and might just be full of pesticides and Pfas. Eg Cinzano, Martini, Mionetto, La Gioiosa, Allini, Valdo, Meolo.

Just tested two competing AI systems with a historical question from the corner of the UK of my infancy. I received 2 diametrically opposed answers. The former stated the facts we all understood as local folklore. The latter, a deeper search, giving archaeological evidence to dismiss the first.

A surprising article collated by Artribune which suggests culture (Italian?) is living a moment of crisis similar to the luxury sector! This theme could just become a post in our Substack in the near future. One for the New Year I think.

When you see people online offering themselves as a 'mentor', ask them first where the word comes from. If they don't tell you it was coined in 1750 after Mentor, a friend of Odysseus and adviser to Telemachus, then seek out someone else. Prepare yourself. It may become an epic journey of its own.
