Would it be naïve to suggest that in the absence of Israeli forces, the government of Gaza must try to maintain law and order - such is the desperation of Gazans?

4/ Even the BiBiC is sceptical about Israel's adherence to phase one of the ceasefire: 'Israel should also release around 250 Palestinian prisoners and 1,700 detainees from Gaza, while increased amounts of aid should enter the Strip'.
Israel has form on breaching agreements.

3/ To be clear, Trump only intervened when Netanyahu over-reached in bombing Qatar.
He never wanted peace in Gaza, is silent on the #WestBank, + still refers to Netanyahu as a friend. That's Netanyahu a wanted war criminal...

2/ Israelis cheering Trump + booing Netanyahu will sadly (IMO) last precisely until hostages are freed.
So many polls in Israel demonstrate a psyche which fails to recognise the humanity of Palestinians
