Made good use of my insomnia last night- Mateo & I finally migrated over here. Started finding some of my dog & hiking peeps- hopefully will find more of my old travel folks.

We’ve been on a wild last-minute short road trip. Mateo has decided he wants to take Amtrak home 😜

I was livid when no one was paying attention to this during the BBB debate. So much about ppl losing Medicare but this ACA crap affects millions as well! If they don’t fix it I have to drop my health ins. Already have to drop my homeowners bc it’s $10k/yr.

Beside that huge point, ACA made preventive care covered 100%. Before that, under work insurance, the labs and a normal physical/well woman would be a few hundred dollars in addition to premiums etc.

It just has ground ginger in the crumble topping and I used some grated ginger in the apple mixture (the recipe called for candied ginger there but I substituted).

I started making a ginger-apple crisp for Thanksgiving when my mom went on super strict sodium heart-failure diet (saves the pastry crust sodium). It really is pretty easy!

It’s been a heavy squirrel surveillance week. Mateo will resume the hard work tomorrow 😊
We have one poorly coordinated one that has fallen off branches & the fence right in front of him 3x. Luckily Mateo’s good about being called off.
