The October General Meeting is this Thursday at Community Forge! We will be deciding on chapter priorities and hearing from Daeja Baker, the Pittsburgh DSA endorsed candidate for the Shaler Area School Board.

In 1909 Eugene Debs visited the striking workers at McKees Rocks. In his speech, Debs told the gathered workers:

Socialist luminary and union agitator Eugene V. Debs died on this day in 1926.

Debs’s life and work was inspired by an unwavering belief that a more just and free world was possible, and that it would be created through class struggle.

Monday October 20 at 7 Pittsburgh DSA’s Political Education Committee will have its monthly meeting! The Committee will discuss the political education activity at Thursday’s General Meeting and the chapter priority proposals, as well as upcoming film screenings we are planning!
