poster-esque halfbody portrait of zain. he is a brown man with soft curls down to the neck, straight brows, small tired eyes, pointy nose, moustache and a beard trimmed to only cover the chin, lips with a prominent cupid's bow, small but slightly bulky and muscular body. he holds a tense pose. body facing left, head facing you, gaze unfocused. his body slumps forward, he hovers his hand in front of his eye and the other grips his side. his neck sways backward which allows us to see his face frowning with tears running down. a dotted-out translucent centipede graphic is over him but instead of wrapping around his body like you'd expect from the actual creature it's flat like a stamp. stringy yellow goop covers zain's torso and metaphorically pulls him towards the left side of the canvas where a bunch of beam graphics can be seen. canvas is overstimulated with patterns and bright colors, shaded throughout with the aforementioned beam graphics seemingly being the light source, neon purple highlights can be seen where there's dark colors including zain's hair. solid cyan backdrop, the centipede graphic blending into it. piece is based off my old drawing i quoted.

poster-esque drawing of zain bound in bed accompanied by a familiar man from behind. zain is an arab man with curly overgrown hair down to the neck, straight brows, small tired eyes, pointy nose, full lips with a prominent cupid's bow, toned slightly bulky build. he is smothered in heat and touch, clearly flustered, he has an eye shut by force not self-inflicted. his wrists are stuck together in front of his face with a shibari bind in bright orange rope. the familiar man grips his face ever so slightly too firm to be a comfortable carress. you can't make much out of the familiar man aside from one arm and a bit of hair. zain is rendered in bluegray with black details and the familiar man in pale brown with white details, "details" for both refers to their hair, nails and possibly more not depicted. there's some glitter on the sheet covers. scene is expected to be horizontal although i have rotated it into a vertical orientation that has the characters' heads on the bottom of the frame, for a lack of better term we'll say upside-down. canvas is shaded throughout set in dim lighting with some light hitting from above, there's some squiggles over the piece loosely resembling smudged stray brush strokes in white and orange with a notable one of those streaks going in a downward motion from zain's open eye. dark blue sheet covers for the backdrop fading to black above the characters' heads.

So, um, if anyone has any pennies in the couch cushions they could send my way, my neighbor just found these in his shed. He knows I “help kittens” and well, here we are.

They’re underweight and filthy, and the smallest one worries me, but we’ll get him bathed and fed and figure things out. /1
