Red-tailed Hawks
Mum, Dad and junior (the local trio) put on a nice display with a low fly-by over Queen St W for anyone interested in looking up.
And one of them way up high on a favourite local perch at the end of the day.

Mum, Dad and junior (the local trio) put on a nice display with a low fly-by over Queen St W for anyone interested in looking up.
Junior is the one with no red in the tail... yet.

White-throated Sparrow
There are still many of them around and they're very busy all day. I was looking to see if the Kinglets were around today (they weren't) and this Sparrow flew up to the utility wire for a better view of the wildlife gardens.

There's a lot to learn from our pigeon friends. Most importantly... to simply do nothing once in a while.
This one made itself very comfortable in the water dish for over ten minutes.
