I've mentioned this before, but when I first started at the NGA, I worked in the Gallery Shops for about a year and it was a celeb-spotting extravaganza. I'll always remember selling postcards to Max von Sydow and that was the only time I was truly starstruck, agog.

I didn't love everything about my institution's rebranding, but I did appreciate that they avoided all corny and ugly eagle logotypes of exactly the kind that the Art Museum of Philadelphia just picked up in the Fourth of July picnic section at Dollar Tree.
