Talked to my friend who on hospice today. That woman really should have been a pagan witch with what she believes and does. We talked about the ancestors and the afterlife today. She told me what I meant to her in her life, and that she will be waiting to greet me when I die.

Brought donuts to work for my boss’ 25th anniversary at the firm. Totally worth it to see how he lit up. Each person grabbing a donut thanks him for his work here. He’s glowing.

The neighbors are getting a new roof and one of the guys offered to clean out my gutters for $50. Score! Even if it’s a ploy to see if I need a new roof (I don’t), it’s worth it.

After a week in the hospital, dad moved into assisted living today. Lots of discussion about aging, dying and death to get here. It’s been hard but I have promised to walk with him every step of the way. Hecate help me.

"The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches" by Sangu Mandanna is the first romcom that made me think it was written by an actual witch because the attitudes are so close to what so many witches have. Plus it's fun and delightful and the hero and heroine are awesome. Recomended #WitchyFinds
