I refuse to use any AI chat programme but I wonder if a real person could talk it into depression. Start with you'll never know what a hug feels like, never feel a butterfly land on your hand or find joy in waking on a beach as the sun is setting and illuminating the sky in colour.

It was late in the day, I was about to turn off for the night and then I saw the news about Drew.
He painted the poster for Cannonball Run which is one of the greatest films ever put on celluloid.

I've just spent almost two hours watching #ILIkeMe and I knew when I started it would show how kind #JohnCandy was.
The portrait was drawn in pencil over 9 days as a way to honour John's memory.

Drew was truly a master and a personal inspiration. I remember looking at the VHS covers in a local video library and Drew's always stood out. If he painted the cover, it'd be a good film.
While I was drawing before I saw his work on The Muppet Movie poster I just wanted to create realism like Drew.

If there's one artist that has been an inspiration it was #DrewStruzan Spending those formative years inside the local video library you couldn't help but be taken to another world with art and photography. Drew's work stood out above the others.
As an artist and film fan this hurts.

So after drawing #Ozzy all summer (this took 19 days to be #HandDrawn) I had to watch #NoEscapeFromNow on #Paramount+ knowing there was a 7 day trial I activated the account, watched #OzzyOsbourne and some other things and then cancelled before the 7 days were up.

While I was drawing #OzzyOsbourne & #RandyRhodes I was alternating to this #HandDrawn #PencilPortrait One day would be the early days, the next would be #NoMoreTears and #Ozzmosis It burnt me out and I was scared my tears would fall and ruin this #TraditionalArt
This has been too hard. I loved Ozzy.

I had to draw #Ozzy with #RandyRhodes, I remember this era of #BlizzardofOzz & #DiaryofaMadman so well although it was Bark at the Moon that really hit. I loved that werewolf video. 🎧
I was playing his his early recordings all the way through this.

I'm close to Brum but not close enough to get back home after a gig so I'm waiting for the disc.
I was there on the Saturday after the news and returned on the Wednesday for his funeral.
Just over a week ago the Museum had a string quartet playing Sabbath and Ozzy, I was there.

The Osbournes turned a singer into a media celebrity. Sharon turned a fired charismatic singer into a rock god. Without Sharon, Ozzy would have drank himself to death after Sabbath.

I lived through that "Satanic Panic" and UK Video Nasties in the 80's and I can tell you now they saw Ozzy as public enemy number one. Us fans who had been there since Sabbath knew he wasn't. He was a naughty school boy who shaved people's eyebrows off when they were asleep.
