This is a very limited list. There are so many great pedsky accounts.

I love the feeds feature to discover new people. Use a medsky.social handle and add a label to your bio. Pin fav feeds. Use labels to help others find you and change to medsky.social handle if you’re in a medical field. #Pedsky

Why is sleep so hard for folks with ADHD? It’s not just “bad habits” or staying up late for fun. There are real brain, body, and behavior factors at play: circadian rhythm shifts, racing thoughts, and sleep struggles are deeply tied to ADHD.

This is now one of my fav's from @randyrainbow.bsky.social!

Pharma plots, raw milk, brain worms, acetaminowhatever, Liza -they all make an appearance.

Lines I really identified with:
- Fear is wunderful for the immune system.
- So long health and hello measles.

It's a tough vote, but read about the candidates and take your turn in the poll.

I struggled with who I *want* to be fired first vs who I think will actually be fired first.

And I thought about the future students who will study this time period and question it all...

Which Trump Official Will Be Fired First?
This time around, Donald Trump has barely fired any senior officials. But here are five people who could be the first to hear ‘you’re fired!’

Apparently when respectable groups start questioning government websites, there’s a need to promote government sites as reliable. This is propaganda at its best.

I had questions, but there are more details in the linked article.
A 5yo boy was admitted to the hospital because of fever and rash. Nonblanching papules spread from the feet to the legs, buttocks, lower back, arms, and ears. A diagnostic test was performed. What is the most likely diagnosis in this case? Cast your vote before Dec. 11: nej.md/3M2gY1C

Vaccines stimulate your immune system to prepare to fight if the body is infected.

If you get exposed before preparation, you're more likely to get very sick.

There's little downside to training your immune system but a lot of risk to skipping vaccines.

Bonus: add masks, ventilation, filtration+
November 27, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Getting infections to gain natural immunity is not necessary and comes with real risk. Vaccines train the immune system so if it's exposed to the virus it can fight it more quickly without as much risk.

Get vaccinated.

I feel so sorry for these babies.
A third Kentucky infant has died from whooping cough (also known as pertussis) this year as the state faces its largest spike in cases since 2012. Cases are only expected to continue to rise, highlighting the importance of widespread immunization. Learn more: publications.aap.org/aapnews/news...

Many kids (and adults!) with ADHD have low iron stores. The good news: identifying and treating low ferritin can sometimes improve focus, energy, mood, and sleep.

Why is it recommended to check a hemoglobin and not ferritin as part of the Bright Futures guidelines? We know that kids can be iron deficient and still have a normal hemoglobin, so all those infant/toddlers we screen with just a hemoglobin could be falsely reassured they're normal. #PedsHematology
