Trump and Vought are now breaking both sides of spending law. They’re illegally not spending where the law requires them to spend, and they’re illegally spending where they don’t have the money to spend.

What we have is an appropriations king.

Spending “deals” are meaningless under that setup.

In NY we make localities primarily responsible for school budgets through property taxes. Yet, a free basic education is guaranteed in our State Constitution. Weird.

Right.
The statewide group here in NY just gave Rep. Elise Stefanik their annual courage award. Her courage? She let Trump yank her nomination to leave Congress to be our UN Ambassador. At the event she claimed that the hundreds of protesters were paid by our Governor to march. Nope, not at all.

They also recently had a ceremony honoring Elise Stefanik for her courage in having her UN ambassador nomination pulled by a scared Donald Trump. The future of the Republican Party, indeed.

Technically, it is a plea for consideration by the Israeli President, not their Parliament. Still, such external interference with a sovereign nation's oversight of its criminal justice system should fall flat again.
