Looks like this opportunity has been archived. Would love to know about any other programs aimed at training scientists in education research or otherwise bridging the gap between teaching practitioners and education research (in higher ed).

GLP-1 agonists (eg Ozempic) are showing promise to reduce alcohol drinking and perhaps opioid use. This is, of course, a potential therapeutic success which arises from the random walking of science, not an “efficient” directed research program.

Me as an author: can’t wait to get this manuscript off my desk and into peer review so I can relax over the holidays!

Me as a journal editor: who submits a paper right before the holidays? Obviously we won’t be able to find any peer reviewers for weeks!
