Worth the repost. I stopped giving to SA years ago. I donate elsewhere to organizations that do not discriminate.
That's fine. I don't see most charities kow-towing to fascism. The SA has been homophobic. I stopped giving to them and give to the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles. I'm sure there are local charities that would be happy to take your money and not discriminate. www.vox.com/the-goods/20...
The backlash against the Salvation Army, explained
The organization does a lot to help underserved people, including members of the LGBTQ community. Still, it has a long history of alleged discrimination.

They are just now finding out. The "Get rid of Obamacare but don't touch my ACA crowd" is about to get a hard lesson in educating themselves before voting.

Farmers are destroying crops they can't sell due to trump's policies & tariffs while federal workers line up at food banks & SNAP gets cut. We have food rotting in fields & people going hungry, not because of scarcity, but because of trump's policies. He is trying to starve us into submission.

Trump’s un-functioning government just increased the national debt $1T in two months. Inflation is up, now at 3%

Dems are trying to save tax credits for OUR healthcare, while the GOP extended tax credits for THEIR rich

The GOP House just took another week of vacay🤬

It's unfortunate we are going to get screwed as well. I guess owning the libs while losing their farms and livelihoods is worth it to them.

When Massachusetts passed a "millionaires tax" in 2023, conservatives claimed the rich would flee.

But two years later, they haven't — and MA has collected $5.7B for infrastructure and public education.

A reminder that positive change can still happen at the state level.

Dear republican congressman:

You just got another week off, you have absolutely no plans since you were going to be in dc.

How about some town halls? If you do three, that’s a total of 6 hours of work the whole week. Easy peasy!
