Even if it doesn’t seem like a lot, if enough people step away/leave, then they don’t get enough attention and money to stick around. Or at least it will *hurt* their pockets to keep expecting the same large amount of users.

You are not one of those people for being on the platforms. You are just saying “I don’t care what they’re doing as long as it’s fun” or “I don’t care what they’re doing as long as my friends are still on it.”
If you care enough about what they’re doing, you’d step away from the platforms.

Actual Roblox creators only make like… a third of what you spend on their games. So even if you wanted to support the game creators, and not roblox, that’s physically impossible.

They have all sorts of games from actual companies paying for their brand to have a game on the platform, roblox having a large player count makes other companies and people want to invest in them, so they get money.

By playing on Roblox, you are saying that you’re ok with what they’re doing, since being on the game supports them.
Even if you’re not buying robux and such, they earn money in other ways.

That is not what is being said, read again. PC is saying you *support* those things, not that you *are* them. Twitter/X is run by nazis, being on it gives them money and attention and therefore supports them.
And Roblox is an extremely unsafe platform which is totally ok with defending pedophiles.

Did you know there was a location opened before the closing of Nyx's Arcade World & before the opening of Nyx Nightingale's Party House?

It was only open for a month before it was closed due to financial troubles.

I loved Twitter. I loved it enough to refuse to call it anything but Twitter for the longest time... But no, this is no longer "Twitter", and it hasn't been for a long long time.

I want to speak to the folks who haven't migrated yet: You've forgotten what it's like to not be mad. Twitter was a place to post a funny thing, or share a cool art. Now? It's crumbs. Retweet-farming post aggregators flying past to fool you into thinking this site has any worth.
And as for everything else? It's an endless nightmare. Posts and an algorithm designed to Piss You Off 24/7, forcing your attention to exclusively cycle down an endless void until you feel like there's no hope in the world. The algorithm Wants YOU to feel defeated.
Don't let it.
I would be lying if I said Bluesky is perfect.
...But I've been posting exclusively there (Besides miscellaneous notification tweets) for about a year now, and I can say with absolute confidence, that you deserve better. Bluesky is better, and it isn't even close.

The main reason most folks haven't migrated yet is because YOU haven't. YOU are still here. YOU don't want to abandon those who mean the most to you: The artists you've followed, the friends you've made, the following you've garnered... But if YOU migrate, they will too.
It does mean starting from square one, but you will be accepted. The engagement won't be manufactured, it won't be full of bots making intentionally incendiary remarks to make a buck. It will be people... Talking to people. You've forgotten the world is full of kind people.

You deserve better. And for that matter... So do I.

I love the "No filter is 100% accurate" part. I know why it's there but in the current context it sounds like premptively deflecting the blame for the impact this has on people's efforts.

Yeah this is so much fun. Over 70% of my videos gets hidden.

15/307 Live Streams visible (4.9%), 1,111/3,643 Videos Visible (30.50%), 157/160 Playlists visible (98.13%)

It's honestly the worst.

I wish there was at least an appeal process to videos being hidden, but there isnt.

I despise how hard YouTube actively fucks over its users and creators at every turn.

Be sure to check your devices (Yes, plural DEVICE(S), because they’ve made it per device not just account), and make sure this setting is OFF!

It’s potentially hiding thousands of videos from you.
