Not that I'm bragging, but my students and the Valdez Community pitched in and raised over $1100 at a bake sale tonight! Funds will be donated to the Alaska Community Foundation's Western Alaska Disaster Relief fund

A little about me-I started in a rural hs library in the fall of 2013 with no training & no district librarian. Since then, I had a YALSA mentor, joined state & nat'l library assns, & serve on the board of the AK Assn of Sch Librarians. I earned a cert in ILS from UMA & my MLIS from UWM.
