It isn't normal at all, but I just needed a pick me up. I was also killing time because I couldn't find a parking spot at the library to return a library book. Crazy busy for some reason.

I was there yesterday. Not many outdoor Halloween things were available. There was quite a bit of Christmas there, too. I guess I should have shopped for Halloween right after the 4th of July.

I went to Lowe's today just to see what they had for Halloween decorations. What little they had was picked over and on clearance. The store is fully stocked with Christmas items already. Are they afraid the country might not make it to Christmas? 🎃🍁🍂🦃

There have been at least 20 deaths in ICE custody in 2025, the deadliest year since 2004. As the agency is ramping up hiring and increasing detentions, concerns remain about how to stop the trend.
